Restaurant Week 2012 Winter - 21 Club

Once a glamorous speakeasy, today '21' is one of the most celebrated restaurants in New York City so we had to check it out, plus it is right next to both of our offices. I always walk by it and notice the little polo player statues outside but never knew what it was. A few months ago while getting lunch, I was on the phone talking to a friend about these polo statues when a stranger walked by and over heard my conversation. He chimed in and told me about this hidden gem and highly recommended that I go for an amazing culinary experience. Well, I was sold!

The toys on the ceiling are gifts from regulars - the airplanes and trucks are from the executives of the companies they represent, and the sports memorabilia are from owners and famous players.
